We wanted to camp at Licancabur's Base camp to climb the next morning. We were stopped by the guardaparque because it is mandatory to contract a local guide to do the ascent.
We had to turn back and go to Refugio Blanca to do the ascent the next morning with a local guide called Martin.

claro que te puedes ir solo al refugio blanca (caminata, bicicleta o coche) pero tienes que organizar todo solo si no quieres un tour para ir alla.
Par subir al Licancabur es obligatorio de contratar un guia.
