Itinerary description
Teviot falls to steamers lookout... we did this as an over night, starting at the gate at Brett road.
Set off up the trail to Mt superbus which is very steep mud track and not suited to wet conditions, once we reached the fork on top we followed the ridge line to the right to Mt Roberts and on to lizard point, on the way you encounter a little bit of a rock descent, only about 3 metres but a bit tricky. Once you get to lizard point the trail to Mt steamer and on to the lookout is less obvious but very enjoyable none the less.
If carrying a heavy pack I would allow 6-7 hrs to do this each way and making sure ground conditions are relatively dry as the wet weather slowed us down.
