Walk alone. Free access park at no cost.
One of the many giant parks that the city of Houston has. Although without relevant earrings, which is not my style, it is enjoyable to do a little exercise.
I parked the car in a free parking lot for the community near a basketball and tennis court and from there I began the walk. Although I later realized that there was another parking lot (probably also free) on the other side of Addicks-Howell Avenue).
I first started walking towards the short side with the aim of doing the complete route and then I started walking towards the long side. You can enjoy the landscape of the trees with squirrels, rabbits, turtles and you can also see the occasional person fishing. You pass over pedestrian bridges and under some vehicular bridges until you reach the end where there is a building and the road was flooded in part but you could walk along an alternate path without getting wet. There one begins to return along the same path. Be careful with bicycles that pass very quickly, therefore it is recommended not to wear headphones and always walk on the right.
You always walk on a fully paved path, so it is advisable to wear tennis shoes. At night it is a bit scary to walk in the dark and very little of the park is illuminated, however it is a safe city. It is important to see the weather, which is very changeable in winter, sometimes cold and other times acceptable cool. It is advisable to have the only bathroom in the park identified on N Eldridge Pway.
