A highly recommended route. A dirt road of several kilometers leads to the starting point of the route.
As almost everyone says, it is better to do it counterclockwise, due to some almost-climbing around pk 3.5.
If the beginning of the route has taken you to a large parking lot, to start the route you have to go back about 100 meters along the road/track until you reach the path. From there it is very well signposted. The route is an L-shaped ridge with an up and down at the beginning and end. Once we reach the beginning of the ridge (not the maximum height), magnificent 360-degree views begin that will accompany us the entire route. Between this point and another located before the first summit is the climbing area that requires going up (and down) looking for the best steps. If you're used to it, it's no problem. Once this section is over, the crest is very comfortable. A first peak with a weather station, a descent, a second peak that gives its name to the route and a section that goes up and down, but like, to reach a point with spectacular views before the final descent.
All the time with views of the Kanasnkis area closest to Banff. From the ridge there are some mountains and first glaciers.
Further along the ridge you can see the Assiniboine.

be careful the trail is so dangerous ¡¡ If you are a mountain lover it is ok, you will enjoy (important to do it clockwise, but if you are a tourist and only want a nice picture of the lake do 2,5 km counter clockwise (untill you see the whole lake) and go back to the parking for the same way so you avoid the scrambling, the scrambling is quite hard and can be really risky.
