TUNEL PARA CRUZAR AL BARRANCO DEL NATERO
UNA SUBIDA A LA IZQUIERDA QUE NOS LLEVA A LA ENTRADA DE UN TUNEL DE 1'5 km. QUE NOS PASA AL BARRANCO DEL NATERO (LLEVAR LINTERNA Y CHOLAS YA QUE TIENE UNOS 30 CM. DE AGUA ) SOLO SI QUEREMOS REALIZAR ESE SENDERO DE LO CONTRARIO SEGUIREMOS EL CAUCE DEL BARRANCO DE MASCA HASTA LA COSTA-------------Nach Durchlauf die Brücke aus Holz sehen aber auch 40 Meter einen Anstieg nach links, die uns trägt zum Eintrag eines Tunnels von 1'5 km, die wir an der Schlucht von den NATERO übergeben (Taschenlampe und CHOLAS, da es ca. 30 CM hat. Wasser) nur, wenn diesem Pfad der LO Gegenteil haben nur die Folgen die Start-und Landebahn der BARRANCO DE MASCA zum Strand von LA machen wollen.---------------After pass the bridge of wood will see to ones 40 meters a rise to left that us CARRIES to the entry of a tunnel of 1'5 km. that we passed to the ravine of the NATERO (carry flashlight and CHOLAS since it has about 30 CM. water) only if want to make that path of LO contrary only have that follow the runway the BARRANCO DE MASCA to LA beach.

Magnifica ruta, aunque considero que no es tan facil como se anuncia.
la verdad es que con lo duro del terreno lo mismo debería poner moderado ....pero vale la pena lo complicado y duro sería subir a Masca otra vez un saludo.

Thanks a lot to talk about this trail. It's beautiful and the sea is ... the cherry on the cake ;-)
No technique needed but a good physical condition.
I have to say I have done it by run and walk from the village to the sea (53min) and back to the start (1h24min), pictures included. I take also about 40min at the beach to swim and drink/eat.
One thing to add, this trail is easier to follow to the sea than from bottom to top because of some dead ends (but it's good for pictures !).
fincamax...very good preparation physics to download in less than an hour, I have done it several times of descent and ascent, it is true, it is more difficult to follow the trail on the rise by some areas but worth a greeting.

El bco. de Masca es uno de los mejores senderos de Tenerife, discurre por el Parque Rural de Teno y se recomienda hacerlo descendiendo desde el pueblo de Masca hasta la playa para, posteriormente, salir de la playa en barco. Éste te llevará hasta Puerto Santiago, un poco más al sur.
El ascenso (playa a pueblo de Masca) sólo se recomienda a personas con una cierta resistencia física, material y agua suficiente.
Como consejo a tener en cuenta:
* Antes de descender asegurate que hay barco pues por condiciones del mar podrían estar suspendidos.
* Ten en cuenta cómo harás la vuelta hacia Masca si es que dejaste tu vehículo allí. La cadencia del trasnporte público en Tenerife no es muy buena.
* Desciende con calma y fíjate bien donde pisas. Si te desorientas momentaneamente vuelve unos pasos atrás. Al fin y al cabo estás descendiendo un barranco y hay múltiples veredas o caminos que van al mismo sitio. Esto no implica que estés perdido. En este caso la afirmación "todos los caminos conducen a Roma" es totalmente válida. ;-)

Schöne aber anstrengende Tour
Que buena pinta tiene esta ruta "Tenerife senderos", me desorienta un poco el trazado del gps, entiendo que se perderá la señal debido al barranco, he visto otras descripciones de la ruta y ponen menos Kms. esperamos poder hacerla en Marzo si D.Q. Muchas gracias por compartir tu magnifico trabajo. Un saludo.
Un saludo Pelchas..... si realmente yo creo que la ruta esta entre 7 o 7'5 kilómetros pero el gps pierde señal y recalcula de ahí esos datos pero vale la pena hacerla ....que la disfruten.
Buenas. Hoy 14 de Feb. de 2018 he realizado la bajada desde Masca, esta ruta no es un juego de niños, hay que tener mucho cuidado de no resbalar o torcerte una pierna ya que sacarte de allí no es fácil, si bajar no es un juego subirlo ya te puedes imaginar, no te descuides con las horas de luz. El firme es casi siempre sobre piedras.
El paisaje es espectacular, parece sacado de una película de jurasic park.
