Telendos Round (27/05/2023): Agia Triada Ruins - Princess Canyon- Saint Konstantinos Chapel

The trail starts from the settlement of Telendos at the point where the boats leave the visitors and continues towards the ruins of Agia Triada. From here on for about 1.5 kilometers we move on a mild path along the sea until we meet an old olive oil tree. The trail then goes through rocky terrain (well signposted) for about 1km before climbing to the right. Then we have a bit of a challenging climb until we reach Princess Canyon. After Princess Canyon, the trail becomes difficult, passing two ridges and a point that needs attention (narrow ridge with cliff on both sides) with unmarked points (it is necessary to have downloaded the trail to a smart watch or smartphone). Then we followed the trail that descends towards Agios Konstantinos (we did not climb the top) with most of its points marked. After Agios Konstantinos the trail becomes steep for about 400 meters until we meet the main trail that leads to the nudist beach.

Η διαδρομή ξεκινάει από το οικισμό της Τελένδου στο σημείο που αφήνουν το κόσμο τα καραβάκια και συνεχίζει προς τα ερείπια της Αγίας Τριάδας. Από εδώ και πέρα για περίπου 1.5 χιλιόμετρο κινούμαστε σε ένα ήπιο μονοπάτι κατά μήκος της θάλασσας μέχρι να μια αιωνόβια ελιά. Στη συνέχεια το μονοπάτι περνάει μέσα από ένα βραχώδες έδαφος (υπάρχει σήμανση καλή) για περίπου 1 χιλιόμετρα προτού ανεβαίνοντας προς τα δεξιά. Μετά έχουμε λίγο απαιτητική ανάβαση μέχρι να φτάσουμε στο Princess Canyon. Μετά το Princess Canyon το μονοπάτι δυσκολεύει περνώντας από δυο κορυφογραμμές και ένα σημείο που χρειάζεται προσοχή (στενή κορυφογραμμή με γκρεμό και από τις δυο μεριές) με σημεία χωρίς σήμανση (είναι απαραίτητο έχετε κατεβάσει το μονοπάτι σε smart watch ή smartphone). Στη συνέχεια ακολουθήσαμε το μονοπάτι που κατηφορίζει προς τον Άγιο Κωνσταντίνο (δεν ανεβήκαμε κορυφή) με τα περισσότερα σημεία του να υπάρχει σήμανση. Μετά τον Άγιο Κωνσταντίνο το μονοπάτι γίνεται απότομο για περίπου 400 μέτρα μέχρι που συναντάμε το κεντρικό μονοπάτι που οδηγεί στη παραλία γυμνιστών και στον οικισμό της Τελένδου.
