Itinerary description
Walking road to reach the entrance of Machu Picchu, starting from the town of Aguas Calientes.
NOTE: you need your ticket for Machu Picchu with you, an id and it can’t be earlier than 2 hours compared to your slot.
Sweet walk down, whole time by the river.
Than it’s a lot of steps. Till the arrival.
You’ll cross the road six times and then the rest will be only walking path with breathtaking views.
It’s not too pumpy, but it’s worth taking the time and appreciate the hike.
