Itinerary description
From the Gryon Tourist office in Barboleuse, you follow the Solalex road for 400m. Next take the lane that goes up on the left and passes betwween a group of chalets. After 300m the road becomes a footpath. Follow the path that cuts across that which leads up to Alpe des Chaux. After making a big loop round the pasture, the way returns to the left to get to the Frience plateau. From this plateau, follow the path that leads off the right towards Mérine and then climbs up to Les Chaux. Then follow the road that leads off on the level towards the Taveyanne pasture. When you get there, follow the path towards Luissalet. You will get back to the Coufin road, which you continue down and, from the Les Chaux road that it joins, take the little path that descends on the right. There you can follow the winter ski piste that returns you directly to the Square in Barboleuse.
