Itinerary description
Good mixture of open hillside/path walking, a little scrambling and walking back on the road (closed to traffic due to landslip)

Muchas gracias por aportar tu ruta y tus fotos. Estoy dando la vuelta a la isla de Gran Canaria lo más aproximado a la costa y este es un tramo que quiero hacer.
Me gustaria saber como la hicistes?
Ya tengo conocimiento que la carretera esta cortada por desprendimiento pero veo, por tus fotos, que cogistes un sendero alternativo paralelo a la carretera.
Que camino utilizastes para bajar otra vez a la carretera principal cuando estabas en la cima del yacimiento arqueólogico en dirección al Puerto de Mogán.

Although the road is closed to traffic, when we were there pedestrians were still ableto walk along the road and get through without any difficulty. Strange to be able to walk along a road without any traffic!
Thank you very much for your information. The road is closed by landslides. The city council plans to make a tunnel through the mountain. Best regards from Fuerteventura.
