Itinerary description
A parking spot in Tatranska Polianka was hard to find, although it turned out that the parking lot for the trail, a little way up the road north of the town, had a few empty spots. (We interpreted signs to mean that no vehicles are permitted on that road, but one can drive to the parking lot.) The trail winds pleasantly through the forest, reaching Sliezsky Dom after about 5km. The area is disfigured by a hotel, but if you look the other way the views are good.
