Itinerary description
Beautiful hike along the coast with few to no other hikers. Very pristine and organic.
The trail is not very easy to access at first. It took me a while to find the path and it turned out that you had to enter from an abandoned construction site. Once on the path it looked like I was walking into someone’s property but the trail just went right next to someone’s farm. From there it looks like the trail ends but you will see a rock wall that you will have to climb to continue on the trail. Once up there, it’s pretty straight forward. There is a small section where cows graze but they won’t pay you any mind. Just keep walking and you’ll end up right back on the trail. Sometimes the gps on Wikiloc can be a little inaccurate in terms of where exactly you should be heading. What I found to be really helpful was to look for the sporadic rock formations. You can’t miss them. They stand out because they look like someone stacked them. Look out for the rock formations and then use the Wikiloc guide when needed. This hike has a lot of loose rocks and sand on the ground so be cautious when ascending and descending. Also wear suitable shoes as there are branches that can puncture the sole of a thin shoe and the terrain is not very easy.
The views were really wonderful. I would highly recommend doing this trail.
