Itinerary description
It's around 20km lower and mid level route, starting at Tarn Hows. Most of trial is on bitten track and official paths but there are parts where you will rocky, muddy and waterlogged surface under your feet. Some turns are easy to miss and it's not so obvious where the trial is. It might be easier during summer
You will experience stunning views over Tarn Hows and Langdale, Hodge Close Quarry and not to miss Cathedral cave, absolutely incredible and Tom Gills waterfall. I stopped for a refreshing drink in Three Shires Inn before continuing my hike. I would say it's easy to moderate trial only on the basis of this a little bit challenging parts and length.
