Itinerary description
Derza is one of the most beautifull peaks on Korab massive, it is located at the border line with Albania, on albanian the name means strawberry and it is probably because of the shape it has when looked from bellow valleys.
From village Tanuše trough marked trail till the river, than path is still well visible until bellow the peak from where you'll need to find your own way to ascent. There are few things to pay attention to on this trail, high vegetation, running rivers to pass several times without any bridges and insects/snakes. Also last part, the final ascent leads trough steep terrain.
View from the top makes all worth the effort. I don't think it is smart thing to go in winter conditions if not experianced enough or if you haven't done any winter trails or trainings before.
Road to Tanushe was accessible by car and in pretty good condition but these circumstances change fast on dirth roads, so need to be checked while planning the route.
