Steep in the beginning, but at the higher elevations beautiful and cool even on a hot day.

Easy to follow
Scenery
Difficult
Not sure why but this was the 1st trail I hiked in Penang. Quite challenging for a couple of reasons. First, it is quite steep and some parts are a bit technical and second, this trail is quite confined in the jungle so there wasn't any air movement (until a storm came along and kicked up a nice breeze for the remainder of the hike). Not a lot of open areas for views down into Tanjung Bungah but will definitely do this again.
