Itinerary description
i couldn't resist the temptation of the beautiful ancient bridges in tangkou county when i passed by yesterday. so i went up early and walked 2.5 kms to witness the sunrise this morning.
yeah, i was so lucky. mt huangshan was surrounded by clouds like the scenarios in fairytales when i arrived there. then it gradually emerged from the clouds until shew the whole figure. i would say that the previous image was more mysterious and romantic while the latter was pretty man and sharp.
locals in town were busy rushing to school and business. the mini motorcycle with a transparent roof and cube was very typical there, riding children to school. you may also taste fresh breakfast along the main road and vegetables and fruit in the local market. don't forget to try local beancurd, which is quite tasty and nutritious.
shops and groceries were open quite early. i can see that they are working so hard to make a living. i made a quick glance and found the prices are relatively a bit lower than those in the tourist area, i.e. around the bus terminal and along the main road.
the old bridges and houses are charming under the sunshine. and the natural trails to mountains are so obvious. so it might be a good idea to live in town and then go up the hills freely next time.
