Itinerary description
This out and back hike starts just off the I-80 exit 3 trailhead and takes you from Verdi, NV to Floriston CA and following the Truckee River and interstate 80 through the valleys between mountains. This would have been a great mountain bike trail also but there were a few places you may have to push your bike up a hill and one bridge that you had to climb stairs so you would be required to carry a bike.
