Itinerary description

This scenic route takes you from Nizhny Ufaley (can be accessed from Yekaterinburg by suburban train and bus) to and through Taganay National Park. It meanders through the woods, crosses numerous creeks and provides ample opportunity to reach remote areas and observe local wildlife. The hardest part of the route are swamps - those are abundant (unless you are doing this route in winter), and while some of them are affecting the roads - others you will have to actually cross. Prepare accordingly and always plan for traversing these areas before dark, so you have time in case something goes wrong or you have to retreat.

Also, route not recommended after strong rains - may render it hard or impossible to pass.
