Itinerary description

This section of the Taff Trail starts at Merthyr railway station and ends at Brecon. It is the westerly route via Storey Arms that is for walkers only. It passes a number of historic sites near Merthyr before climbing up the Taff valley passing three reservoirs, woods and moors to reach Storey Arms. From there it is downhill to Brecon mainly along single track roads. A blog of the route can be found here http://johnpontafftrail.blogspot.co.uk/2017/02/merthyr-tydfil-to-brecon-via-storey-arms.html
