Itinerary description

This route follows the Taff trail through Cardiff from Cardiff Bay Train Station to Taffs Wells Railway Station. An attractive walk starting at the rejuvenated Cardiff bay, passed the Millenium Stadium and Cardiff Castle, through Bute park and several other green spaces in the city which border the River Taff. The path goes by an old beam pump on the now defunct Cardiff Canal. Leaving the suburbs of Cardiff it climbs to Castle Coch before climbing and then dropping down into Taff's Wells.
