Itinerary description
A really fun hike based on a route by Geoff Tennant, with a little added detour to see Maclear’s beacon.
The India Venster approach is probably not for the casual Sunday walker, but if you’re used to a bit of scrambling you’ll be alright.
The fun/challenging stuff is all near the start of the trail. After that it’s pretty plain sailing through a wonderful variety of landscapes and past some amazing views.
