Trail leaving Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden. The Botanical Garden ticket is paid to start the trail. Value of R 70. Then we descend by Cable Car.
The trail takes a lot of breath and we took longer than expected. The stop at the dam is a good request to recover the energy in the middle of the way. The first 1:30 is very hard, but under the shade of the forest, it helps you a little. Then the trail follows almost always under the sun. Although well signposted, the course requires attention not to take the wrong detours, especially in the ascent by the small waterfall (we did for the rocks).
From moderate to difficult. Almost 1km of climb on stones, steps and stairs.
