Itinerary description
Apart from the island of Spinalonga and the picturesque fishing village of Plaka, the area also features a small but very impressive gorge, located just 20' from the village of Plaka. Crossing would also provide us with the option to visit the old villages of Pines. We return to Plaka following the old paths, from where we can enjoy the extraordinary and incomparable views over Spinalonga and the lagoon of Elounda.
* (We may follow an alternative route that bypasses the gorge. The views are equally enchanting and almost the entire route follows the old trails from the village of Ano Pines.
