Itinerary description
It is a short walk for all those who like to combine walking and diving in sea!
We walk along the paved road (30') and then descend along the old Ottoman path to the first beach (Karavostasi). The route offers great views of the beaches and the village of Kalo Chorio.
We continue along the coast to “Priniatikos Pyrgos” which is located between the beaches of Karavostasi and Agios Panteleimonas and is one of the most important archaeological sites in Mirabello. It is an area that was continuously inhabited in the Minoan and Roman times.
We continue towards the golden beach of Agios Panteleimonas and the mouth of Kalos River.
Next, we follow a short path that leads to the famous Voulisma beach which is one of the most photographed beaches of Crete.
