Itinerary description
Loop trail from Ndërlysaj passing through:
- Blue Eye (3.5 km)
Road from Theth to Ndërlysaj was in good condition, on the entrance of the village there is a wide parking place, it was free of charge. From the left side of the river there are few restaurants. Path to the Blue Eye is not well marked but you won't miss it as there are many people on the path. You can also continue trough the wide dirth road, you can see the waterfalls and the wooden bridge on your way back.
We did a little loop as we did not follow marks that were leading to the Blue Eye, we continued a little further and pass another bridge, than trough narrow and steep path for first 10m we approached the lake from above, than the path took us to the wooden bridge and than path will take you down to the main path.
All in all this is worth seeing if in Theth. Before taking the route please check the pictures so you could see the terrain and what to expect. Water in the river is too cold but regardless people were still swiming in it. Path is ery slippery when wet/raining.
I saw people offering transportation but I didn't asked for the price, you can probably get this info in Theth.
