This stage is less demanding than the previous ones and the departure from Padstow to Stepper Point is impressive due to the changeability of the estuary, depending on the tides and its sandbanks. After Stepper Point, a series of cliffs continue leading towards Trevose Head to reach Harlyn Bay. The path makes many twists and turns that you don't always want to do, either because of the repetition of scenes, or with the aim of shortening the stage. So at the end of Harlyn Bay we take a westbound road that heads towards Harlyn Park holiday park. We cross it and at the end we come across a paved road that we take to the right. After about 300m, there is a path to the left that crosses a golf course and leads directly to Constantine Bay. The path continues in a southerly direction, meeting beaches where surfing is practiced and cliffs with a great variety of flowers to finally reach Portcothan. I recommend using the Ordnance Survey application, OS maps, as they are highly accurate and allow us to make a more creative route adapted to our desires.
