My advice is to do this trek clockwise, because of the lack of water at the summit and near Omalo. There is no water from km25 to km40. Don"t hesitate to take more water than necessary.
This loop is a mix of 2 hikes :
- First part is : https://www.caucasus-trekking.com/treks/nakle
- Second part is : https://www.caucasus-trekking.com/treks/ghele
It's a mix of 4x4 road and hikking path. Very beautiful.
I slept in a tent near the river and at the summit of Makratelas. But it's possible to go to Guest Houses.
It's also possible to do this loop in 2 days, and slept for exemple near Verkhovani.
Don't hesitate to ask me your question.
