To get to this route it is necessary to access the parking by car or by bus from the Tau ferry or from the port of Tau. We take a ferry from the port of Stavanger and from there bus to the same parking lot of the Preikestolen route.
The route is an ascent by way of about 500 meters with ramps of 25% that makes us warm our legs. Once finished the road begins a series of stones placed in the form of a road, mostly ascending with a multitude of stairs made with stones from the area. Everything very ecological and mixed with the environment. They are about two hours away, although we did it in less, because at the time we started the climb there were not too many people and we were light, despite the heat that at that time was already ... and it was 10 o'clock in the morning.
It is a beautiful climb, not without lack of effort, because there are stretches where you have to raise your foot to the height of the knee and this causes the forces to diminish and the bodies sweating.
The route is rated as 3 on a scale of 4, which caused many people to turn around before reaching the middle of the climb and without even noticing the pulpit.
In the absence of a kilometer, we come to an area with a couple of lakes, where there are people who are taking a dip. It is from here that the most beautiful part of the route begins. Large stone slabs, gorges on our left with falls of 500 meters, some with fence and others with nothing more than the cut of the land. Photos and more photos listening to the oohhh of the walkers.
In less than 10 minutes we saw the pulpit with about 40 people sitting there, taking pictures on the very edge of the void. This causes you to be overwhelmed, since last year a Spaniard fell into the fjord from there to lean too much.
We take many photos and we turn around to take the route down to the interpretation center where we must wait for the bus to the ferry.
Halfway down we see a zip line where a couple of kids are adjusting the harness to drop by the cable about 600 meters.
We arrive at the destination point and we eat the sandwich to wait for the bus.
