Ascent to the emblematic Ben Lomond (974 m). Very popular and simple route to the shore of Loch Lomond, the largest lake in the United Kingdom.
The route is circular, begins and ends in the Rowardennan car park where 3 pounds are paid and you can leave the car all day.
In the dates in which we climbed, the way of going was in works, which forces to take some detour, but very well signposted. No problem.
The whole route is simple, by a road in good condition and quite evident. The return from the Ben Lomond we did it by the road that they call Ptarmigan, that for a beautiful landscape, quite different from the one of ascent, it returns us to the point of departure.
