Stromboli: Salita al cratere 918 m

Si parte obbligatoriamente in gruppo con la guida alpina dal centro di "Stromboli Fire Trekking", dove si prendono lampadine, mascherina e scarponi alti se non si è equipaggiati. Si iniziala salita su un sentiero in mezzo alle sterpaglie, dopo 30 min si inizia a salire di quota abbastanza velocemente e il percorso inizia a essere molto ripido e faticoso. Verso la fine della salita il sentiero è sulla cenere ed è molto faticoso camminarci. Arrivati in cima dopo 3h circa si gode una splendida vista del tramonto. Per scendere si prende un altro sentiero sulla cenere al buio e si arriva in città dopo 6-7h di trekking totale. Per fare quest’escursione CONSIGLIO di essere molto allenati ed avere molta esperienza.

To climb to the crater you have to be guided by the alpine guide and we started our hike from "Stromboli Fire Trekking" info point, where you can take with you flashlights, half masks... At the beginning the uphill trail was among greenery, then after 30 min we began to climb in a very steep and difficult trail. At the end of the hike the trail was full of ashes so it was very difficult to walk in. We arrived at the top after 3h circa and the scenery was incredible. To return back to the town we took another trail full of ashes very steep and difficult and we arrived at the bottom after 6-7h of hiking in total.
To do this hike I RECOMMEND YOU to be very trained and have lots of experience because it’s a very hard hike.
