Charming route in search of the Storebreen glacier in the spectacular area of Leirvassbu (in the Jotunheimen National Park).
I think it's a little known route, but still pretty cool.
The route is made by a quite rocky trail, which, eye with the rainy days since it becomes very slippery.
The day I made the route, the sky was quite cloudy and the place did not shine as much as it really deserves a place like this.
Finally I could not reach the tongue of the glacier because before you had to cross a very snowy area with rivers under the snow. Still, I liked the area.
Up the road you will reach the beautiful refuge of Leirvassbu. This is a great crossroad of the National Park.
