From near Stocksfield rail station, up Stocksfield burn, then open country with fabulous views from Apperley, and near Hedley on the Hill. (Good food + a drink at the Feathers pub). Mix of quiet tracks and paths. Return directly via the burn, or past posh houses in Stocksfield.
