Itinerary description
This route follows Downs Link from Steyning down the River Adur to Old Shoreham, then climbs to the Downs at Mill Hill and Beeding Hill before dropping back down to Upper Beeding and Steyning. Downs Link follows an abandoned rail line, and is wide, flat, and largely free of mud in December. The other paths were often rather muddy.
