Itinerary description
steelhead lake-- this should have been an 8 mile round trip trail, but I cheated and took the water taxi back so I saved 2 miles. Speaking of the water taxi, you might want to take it both ways and save 4 round trip miles. Then you can hike farther into the wilderness. There is also a lovely 5 mile loop from the water taxi covering many lakes. Lovely.
