Itinerary description
Beautiful hike but quite crowded up to Starelesnianska Polana (mainly because of the waterfalls). From Stary Smokovec to Hrebienok (or back) you can take a funicular if you are tired of walking (that part of the hike is not really attractive anyway). At Skalnate Pleso you can go by cable car up to Lomnicky Stit (the second highest summit in the Tatra mountains) if you are willling to pay approx. 28 euro for the trip. You can also take a chair-lift to Lomnicky Sedlo for approx. 10 euro.
