Itinerary description
Beautiful trail running along the gorges of Mostnica river in the valley of Voje.
Starting point at the parking place at the end of the village, indicated by signs "Mostnica". In high season parking fee ± 12 euro. Parking down in the village possible as well, however steep climbing up to the start of the trail. Via a forest path, to "Devil's Bridge (Hudicev most), beautiful gorges. Toll fee at the bridge ± 2 euro p.p. Follow the Mostnica stream via a fairy-like forest path up to Voje alpine hut.
There, the valley widens and you walk up along sunny meadows over a macadamised path. An inn is located at the end of the path. Next, a forest path leads you to the Mostnica waterfall.
On your return, take the small, bushy forest path just opposite of the path leading to the inn, at the point where the signs are located. And then take a left. Allowing for walking downwards along the other part of the river.
Food an drinks: Voje alpine hut - Planinska koca na Vojah 690 m (great blueberry strudl) and at the inn at the end of the valley.
This trail is described in "Bohinj hiking trails" available at the tourist offices, and thus very well indicated with signs - no. 7. The trail is marked on maps of Bohinj e.g. Kompas.
