Itinerary description
It's a handwritten map but it's approximately the way we took. Maps me is better than google and shows two viewing poiints in Vogar. We passed by both and had a panorama of Lake Bohinj.
The path is well-marked. But I also recommend the offline map "maps me". No printed map needed.
This path leads up to the lake near the hut Koča na Planini pri Jezeru. At the starting point in Stara Fuzina, you pass by beautiful villages. If you start early in the morning, you may even see some fog. It takes up 1.5 hours to the first viewing point in Vogar, and then we continue to the lake near Koča na Planini pri Jezeru. Altogether it is 4.5 hours one way.
There is a hut in Vogar where you can have lunch, even in late May,but accomodation is unavailable. One viewing point is located around here. For Koča na Planini pri Jezeru, I think only drinks are provided. You can stay by the lake. It is gorgeous.
The level of difficultly of this path is moderate. We are inexperienced hikers and we managed to do it. I think there is nothing dangerous on the way.
We started at Stara Fuzina at 7:30 and came back to Bohinj Jezero at around 18:00. This included lunch and rest time.
