Itinerary description

Gentle walk through the old mining areas of Stanley. Sometimes the trail is a tiny animal style track and others a made gravel path. Not suitable for strollers or disabled but young children would enjoy scrambling up the tracks.

Lots of interpretative signs in the early stages of the walk. You come out of the diggings at 6 mile Road, walk a few meters, and turn right along Little Scotland road which you can follow into Stanley or turn off into the diggings again, but not much point doing that. Better to continue on the road.
