Trail photos
Fantastically scenic walk straight from the car park at Stackpole. Through the meadows to the Lily Ponds, which you cross via the Eight-Arch Bridge. You now walk along the water and under the trees in the direction of Broad Haven Beach. You can follow the Coast Path or, as we did, walk a bit along the beach and then clamber to pick up the path again on top of the cliffs. The route now heads towards Barafundle Bay, passing some beautiful bays and deep holes. The view all around is truly spectacular. In the distance you can see Manorbier and Caldey Island, among others. But actually, on top of the cliffs you have spectacular views of the beautiful coastline of South Pembrokeshire everywhere. Cool your feet at Barafundle Bay Beach and after the short climb down the beach you will soon be back at the start.
