Itinerary description
"In the footsteps of Apostle Paul" trail is rather short linear trail which can be easily made circular. There are two options to get back to the starting point - either to return via beginning along the river (you have to climb back at the very end) or via asphalt road through the village (we opted for the 2nd one).
The nicest parts of the trail are obviously along the small river with lush vegetation. The river is all year round one. You may come across river crabs whos habitat is around.
TERRAIN: narrow paths about half the way, the rest is mostly dirt roads, concrete roads and asphalt. Rather sharp but civilized descent to the river, then not that long stroll along the river, later there is mild ascent to the hill tops and then descent to the village (partially along the river). Some loose soil around the hill top.
SEASON: it's pretty nice and shady around the river, ascent to and descent from the hill is mostly sun exposed.
SIGNS: very good signposting - both plant plates and direction signs. Plenty of resting places and a picnic site.
KIDS: good for kids of any walkable age, just asses their stamina.
