Itinerary description
What a beautiful, diverse hike!
We parked at the Ostrich Farm and began our hike from there... heading toward the water.
From there, the trail was clear... along the shore for quite a while.
Then, there was a of a rock scramble before the easy flat areas appeared once again. This are was along the coast with lovely views of the lake... and the inlet.
The only sad part was all the trash that was collected as it was washed in from the East.
As we reached our point along the coast, we followed the path inland. Along the way, we stumbled upon a side path that took us to a nice bat cave that we climbed through and saw a beautiful 360 degree view from the top.
Returning back to our original path, we searched for the entrance to another path. It was grown over with tall grasses, but it lead to the Victoria Secret Path. This was such a delight!!!
From this point, we veered off looking for another path. This was a bit rough, but let to another actual path. Had we stayed on the original path, we would have been fine to find where we ended up.
Anyway... our "alternative" path... led us to a real path, then to another "alternative path". The "real" path was not far from where we were, we just didn't see it.
We found our way on the real path along the Motor Cross, and here the real path turned into another overgrown grassy area. We weaved our way through the areas and found the road which led us back to the Ostrich Farm where our car was parked.
We only mark this an Intermediate trail because of the rock scramble and the scree that was along part of the way. (In total about 20 minutes of the entire hike.) Most of the hike was easy.
Bring lots of water and a snack... and... have an enjoyable hike!!!

Beautiful walk. Lots of different scenery. Some parts have a bit difficult climb over rocks. The victoria secret trail is very nice!
Bring enough water.
