Itinerary description
The top of Squaw Valley ski resort's tram to Squaw Peak. Great views along an easy to follow road and you can see what you ski on in the winter. At the peak you can see the mysterious Squaw Peak Stonehenge in person! Other trails also start at High Camp.
There are restrooms, shops and vending machines at High Camp as well as the base area. Parking is free at Squaw's main lot. The tram costs $32 to ride up to High Camp (or hike one of several trails to get there), but is free to ride down and runs 10:40am to 5 or 6pm. See http://www.squaw.com/things-to-do/other-summer-activities/hiking#content_title for more info.
