Itinerary description
Super nice, & easy loop!
We opted to extend the “loop” signposted by taking the service road and returning to the TH via eagle pass trail which is mainly flat. It extends the hike slightly, but means you don’t have to go back on yourself quite as much which I personally prefer.
Nice views, in and out of the trees - beautiful scenery.
Very gradual inclines, well maintained trail.
Steepest, “hardest” part was walking down the service road there is a warning sign that it’s a steep road and to look out for service vehicles but we encountered none, and I’ve seen roads far steeper.
Some puddles on the trail due to melting snow. but all easy to walk around, many options to keep feet dry. No slippery parts whatsoever.
