Itinerary description
An exploratory hike that starts with an easy hike to the Spring Mountain summit.
Then backtracking you turn off to tackle the exploratory part that heads along a mix of old & current fire trails & bushbashing.
Finish at the end of a Ridge line (optional - return the way you came in).
Experienced hikers only from here.
We then started a "very steep" downhill bushbashing descent (exploratory) where I found an old undocumented fire/hiking trail (about 30 minutes down). Finally we intersected with another old, but documented old fire trail together with some more bushbashing.
Finally intersecting with the easy inbound trail that you follow back to the car.
The exploratory section has room for possible improvement - Enjoy.
