This is a very nice short hike to do in early spring before the daily rains begin. Very shaded. Can get very swampy and muddy late summer. The 2 main boardwalks are closed due to hurricane damage. Left the main loop trail here to explore blue blaze trail that leads to a primitive campsite for Florida Trail hikers.
