Itinerary description
Navigation aids suggested. Although this route generally stays lower than the high route to the south, it's still easy to get lost in the high barren section.
Note that this route is referred to as "Albert's Way" as it was identify and developed by Albert Sutton, a local hiking enthusiast and ECT volunteer. The sign on route was erected by Greg Bennett.

This route is only accessible in winter. These coordinates are perfect. There are several spots during the hike/run that we were glad to have these as a reference as the number of intersecting snowmobile trails make it easy to loose the trail.
Hi Randy! Is the high route or the low route the most popular with locals?
I think the low route is the more popular one in recent years. Less exposed, but requires a good freeze.
