Itinerary description
Walk begins in Acebuchal, a hill village about 6 kilometers to the north of Frigiliana (accessible by bus from Nerja). First couple of hours of the walk is on reasonable quality trails that climb gently into the hills. After you pass a stream and a small water trough on your right, you will come to a spot where the water flows across the road. This is your cue to locate a track on your right to ascend to spot height 1122.
The decent is quite steep in places, and you will need to take care with the vegetation that makes it difficult in places.
Eventually you will emerge onto a wide path where you turn right to pass through Collada Blanquilla, dropping down to the left to return to Acebuchal.

This is a "long shot question"! I did part of this route in late October last year. I came off Cerro de las Tres Cruces down to the Collado de los Civiles and followed your route to the track before heading off up El Cisne. Somewhere I lost a pair of binoculars which were in a small black pouch (not expensive but of sentimental value) attached to my rucksack belt. I suspect they got 'torn' off whilst brushing through the vegetation. I did manage time a few days later to do your route in reverse in an attempt to find them - more a psychological event than anything.
I don't suppose you stumbled across them!
