The Vintgar gorges are very visited and the parking area is small, so if you do not arrive early in the morning, they will not let you in. One option is to take the shuttle bus for € 1 that goes up to the parking lot. We have parked a nearby village.
The ticket is worth € 10 / adult if you enter on one side or the other.
The gorges are very nice and it's worth seeing them even though there may be too many people. The passages on the river offer an excellent spectacle and at the end of the route you can see one of the few river waterfalls of Slovenia, the Sum, which is 13 m.
You can return by the same path, get off at Bled through Sta. Katarina (another good option to start the route without parking problems) and you can also make the circular that we have done climbing up to Sta Katarina and then following the path that without losing height brings us back along the Hom (843 m ) to the parking of the gorges and at our beginning.
