Itinerary description
This hike is up to the Cross at the mouth of Spanish Fork Canyon. It starts at the pavilion above the Spanish Fork Reservoir. Walk to the top of the campground and follow the multi-use trail to an intersection. Take a left following the sign for the Escalante Trail. Go down the wooden/dirt steps and take a right at the bottom. Follow this walking trail until you come to an intersection with a bench. Take a left at the bench. This will take you to the Cross. There are small side trails that avoid going up and down the rocky peaks of hills. Feel free to use these, they take you to the same place.
