Trail photos
The route covers part of the southern edge of the Grand Canyon, starting at the viewpoint The Abiss (which is reached by a free shuttle) through Mohave Point and Hopi Pont, ending at Powell Point (where you can again take the shuttle to the area of Bright Angel, where the car can be parked). It is a simple and comfortable way to travel, with hardly any unevenness and on a path that runs between the road and the edge of the canyon. At some points it approaches the edge too much, so the sensation of vertigo can appear. However, it can be avoided simply by traversing those stretches on the road.
The whole trip is made on the edge of the Canyon, and in a good part of the route you can see the bottom of the Colorado River itself, so the views are unbeatable.
