Itinerary description
If you're looking for an easy hike, this is it. Park across the street from the South Platte Hotel structure, which is no longer a hotel, but a historic structure. The trail is a wide service road that parallels the river and ends pretty much where the Strontia Springs reservoir begins. There is shade along the trail to stop.
